Portadown Rugby Football Club recently submitted an application for grant funding from the ABC Borough Council’s Large Capital Grant Fund. We were notified by the Council on Friday that our application had been successful and that we would be awarded the full £20,000 available. There is an urgent need to maintain and improve the facilities available to all who use the Club, so the funding will be used to help with a phased approach in the electrical rewiring of the Clubhouse. This will ensure that we continue to maintain compliance with current fire regulations. We anticipate that works will commence early in the New Year.
