About The Club

Portadown Rugby Football Club is an amateur rugby union club based in Portadown, Northern Ireland. Our 1st XV completes at provincial level in the Kukri Ulster Rugby Championship Division One . We field 4 adult men’s teams and an adult women’s team. In our youth section we have boys U14, U16 and U18 teams as well as a newly formed girls team. In our mini rugby section, we cater for boys and girls between the ages of 5 to 12. Additionally, we provide tag rugby for children and young adults with learning disabilities through our Portadown Panthers team.

Located on Bridge Steet in Portadown, our facilities are amongst the best in Irish rugby comprising 4 pitches, an all weather pitch, a cricket pitch, bar, restaurant and function rooms.

Our aim is to provide a high quality environment that allows athletes of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to excel as rugby players.

Through the years of social and political strife, Portadown Rugby Club has remained a bastion of normality and civility and we promote friendship, fair play and healthy competition among our players, local community and peers, regardless of ability, gender, race, ethnicity, religious belief, sexuality, or social/economic status.
