Part time Bookkeeper/Administration – 20 hours per week.
Portadown Rugby Football Club is seeking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper/Office Administrator to work as a member of our team providing day-to-day accounting and finance services.
Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position, as well as building good relations and the ability to communicate clearly.
The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker, is reliable and is committed to consistently meeting deadlines.
Typical duties would include but not limited to:
- Operation of all Sage duties – data entry, resolving queries, management of sales and purchase ledgers, processing payments and bank reconciliations.
- Operation of Brightpay, verification of staff timesheet, preparation of monthly PAYE and payments.
- Assist with preparation on quarterly VAT returns.
- Produce reports for General Committee.
- General bookkeeping and office duties.
- Any other duties as assigned by line manager.
Distribution of hours and hourly rate to be discussed further in application process.
Essential criteria:
- 3 + years in a similar role.
- Proficient in operation of sage.
- Proficient in operation of Brightpay.
- Proficient in all Microsoft operations packages.
- Ability to work under own supervision.
