PRFC Youth Girls getting involved with the Southern Stars

Portadown RFC’s Youth Girls have been taking part in an Ulster Rugby ran super series, to help the girls get experience of 15 a side rugby.
With numbers in girls youth rugby being different in each club across the province, there were teams were combined to create full 15 a side teams. Portadown was placed in the Southern Stars, where they played along side Armagh, Newry, Banbridge, Lurgan and Dungannon.

All the girls enjoyed all the matches within the 1st half of the season, where they had the opportunity to play; Eastern Panthers, Virginia, Enniskillen and North East Lightning. Each of these matches gave a range of challenges in different ways but the Southern Starts always give it their all.
The girls are currently enjoying their Christmas and New Year break but can’t wait to get back on the pitch in the 2nd half of the season.
